The study – with the participation of GTA, CNS, ISA, IPÊ and Coiab – was motivated by the need for a comprehensive evaluation of the PEMC-AM (Amazonas State Climate Change Policy) in order to subsidize other states such as Amapá and Rondônia, who are currently discussing and building their regulatory frameworks for climate change.
