In an official letter, the CMDRS of Apuí recognised the merit of Idesam’s work in the fight for forest conservation in the south of the State of Amazonas

To mark its 10th anniversary, Idesam was honoured with the Award of Merit, granted by the ALEAM Environment Committee.
The certificate confirms that the Suruí Forest Carbon Project meets the requirements of the Verified Carbon Standards.
The validation certificate also relates to the Suruí Forest Carbon Project, confirming compliance with VCS standards.
Following its work in the Uatumã RDS, Idesam received the Environmental Merit Award from the Brazilian Institute for the Defence of Nature.
Organised by the Greenvana Foundation, the competition recognised the country’s leading environmental NGOs, with Idesam being a finalist.
The Juma REDD Project, whose technical proposal was drawn up by Idesam, received Gold validation from the CCBA.
The Apuí Mais Verde Project, conceived by Idesam, took first place in the environmental category awarded by MDIC and Basa.
