Uniting communities,businesses, and organizations. 2023 was the year we faced the devastating climate extremes of the Amazon drought, which highlighted the urgency of concrete and immediate actions to mitigate climate imbalance. We strengthened our socio-environmental commitment by focusing on transforming the reality of territories through community engagement, sustainable production, bioeconomy innovation, and inclusive and sustainable resilience in the Amazon. Based on the Theory of Change, we reaffirmed our values, organizational policies, and how we manage and operate as an institution. Our commitment to the Amazon and its populations was nationally recognized with the “Best NGOs” award, thanks to the efforts, dedication, and, most importantly, the trust of every partner, collaborator, donor, and ecosystem that joins us in this journey of protecting the Amazon rainforest. This represents a serious commitment to a living Amazon. That is, acting in a network, in partnerships involving civil society, companies, private social investment, public authorities, and organizations in the Amazon ecosystem.
